Be Connected digital literacy grants

Be Connected is a Federal Government-funded program that aims to help older Australians (50+) thrive in a digital world through a digital literacy program. It currently has more than 1,130 local organisations taking part in the Be Connected program around Australia.

There are three digital literacy grants that are currently open for applications:

  • Activation Grants: $1,500 for each Network Partner
  • Building Digital Skills Grants: between $2,500 and $15,000 depending on how many people a Network Partner can support. Current round closes on 31st May
  • Network Capacity Building Grants: up to $50,000, an innovative grant for an organisation to both recruit and support Network Partners eg in a geographical area or around a specific target group. Current round closes on 21 May.

Councils will need to join the Be Connected Network to be able to apply for the grants, which can be done on its website https://www.beconnectednetwork.org.au/
