Grants now open for Driver Reviver site upgrades

The Office of Road Safety is urging Driver Reviver site owners across the country to apply for a share of $3 million in grant funding to buy variable messaging signs.

The signs (one per site) are to be used during peak holiday periods when Driver Reviver sites are operating.

The grant opportunity closes on 29 May 2020 or when funding is exhausted, whichever comes first.

Guidelines and FAQs for Round 1 of the Driver Reviver Site Upgrades program are on the GrantConnect website. Interested parties can also email roadsafetygrants2@infrastructure.gov.au

In other grant funding news, local councils are being encouraged to apply for available funding under Round 5 of the Bridges Renewal Program (BRP) and Round 7 of the Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity Program (HVSPP).

Applications for funding for both programs under these rounds close on 29 May.
