National Arts and Disabilities Awards

Celebrate the achievements of emerging and established artists with a disability by nominating them for the inaugural National Arts and Disability Awards, which close 1 October.

The awards are open to all areas of practice and feature two categories: established artist recognized nationally or internationally ($50,000 prize), and emerging artist aged 35 years or under at time of nomination ($20,000 prize).

Entrants cannot self-nominate.

The awards are organized by the Australia Council and Arts Access Australia and will be announced in Canberra on 3 December, the International Day of People with Disability.
