This year, NGA19 is Future Focused celebrating past achievements while firmly focused on the future. The theme acknowledges that change is constant, be it digital transformation, community activism, ageing demographics, population policies or even artificial intelligence.
It is up to each and every council to understand these developments, work through the challenges, and find the best way to shape their response to their communities.
