Nominations open for 2019 Human Rights Awards

The Human Rights Commission’s annual Human Rights Awards have opened for entries across nine categories.

These include the Community Organisation Award, Government Award, Racism It Stops with Me Award, Human Rights Medal, and Young People’s Human Rights Medal.

“We encourage anyone to nominate individuals and organisations who inspire you with their commitment to advancing human rights in Australia,” Commission President Rosalind Croucher said.

Nominations close on 15 July, with the awards to be presented in Sydney on 13 December.

The Awards will be presented in Sydney on Friday 13 December.
