SANE Australia’s mental health survey

Mental health charity SANE Australia is seeking 7,000 participants for what it hopes will be the country’s largest survey that seeks to understand the experiences of nearly 700,000 Australians living with severe and complex mental health conditions.

The Our Turn to Speak survey can be completed online, via the phone, or in person, and features questions about 14 areas including housing, employment, education and finance.

The findings will assist SANE Australia’s resources and programs at the local, regional and national level, survey organisers said.

Eligible participants must be Australian residents, aged 18 and over, and have been living with at least one severe and complex mental health condition for the past 12 months.
